Things Must Change

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to you as a shareholder to inform you that I will find it necessary to sell out of a position I own in your company, Dominion Energy, Inc. (D), on October 14, 2022 unless you will consider defunding those actions/agendas that are in violation of my values and beliefs. I believe the company is now using shareholder funds to support causes that do not line up with my Christian values.

Specifically, I screen out companies for violations in the areas of abortion, pornography, lifestyle (LGBTQ), human rights violations, and anti-family entertainment.

The following specifically outlines the screens where Dominion Energy, Inc. fails. If you feel this information is inaccurate, or may be changing, please contact me by October 13, 2022.

PROMOTION
Uses one or more methods to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender/transsexual, or questioning lifestyles (LGBTQ). This may include advertisements or marketing campaigns targeted to those who choose alternative lifestyles, proudly display or boast being “gay-friendly”, and/or provide resources for the advancement of LGBTQ groups (meeting places, materials, etc).

HRC Foundation Corporate Equality Index rewards employers demonstrating commitment to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workers through engaging with and supporting broader LGBT community.
