I think sometimes it’s easy to take a doom and gloom approach to this, but we have to realize we’ve seen great strides in this movement. How should this encourage us? This movement is not new. I mean, it was initiated some 30 years ago. The Timothy Plan was one of the pioneers in the Biblically Responsible Investing Movement. Dan started this ministry 20 or 26 years ago. I might be 27. We’re only a couple of years younger than the Timothy Plan. I think we’re 27. Alright. So, yeah, it’s been a long time coming, you know. We, of course, have picked up the mantle and continue to run with it. But, you know, I don’t think the Biblically Responsible Investing Movement can take full responsibility even for what we’ve seen lately. We’ve seen some great successes. We saw Tractor Supply, Lowe’s, and even Microsoft repent or partially repent from some of the things that they were doing, especially when it comes to supporting the LGBTQ movement. They’ve decided just to focus on what they do, what their core business is, and forget about the culture war to just, you know, focus their resources on being the best retail sales organizations or technology companies. Microsoft has not totally repented, by the way. They’re still doing a lot of garbage, but at least they’re kind of backing off of their DEI movement. But, you know, in fact, you know, the impetus lately seems to have come from some other unlikely sources. So, you know, there’s this guy, Robbie Starbuck, who is on YouTube, and he did a lot of these exposés, and it was shortly after those exposés that these companies made changes. Now, we were prepared. We were doing our own work. We were putting together our own petitions to the companies, and we’ve done that a lot over the years. Dan had a lot of great conversations with a lot of companies that would waver, you know, they would be on, then they would be off. And, you know, it’s been a long struggle. But you know what? The message is the same. Whether it’s coming from us or the Timothy Plan or some of the other folks out there in the Biblically Responsible Movement, the message is the same: Corporate America, quit funding garbage. Just do what you do. At the end of the day, it is really the Lord who gets credit for bringing about change through His people, and we are humbled and blessed to be part of that. Yeah. That’s awesome. Shana, now, for the, you know, what you expect for the future, what do you expect on the horizon for the future of this movement? Understanding, as you say, that with our investments, past performance is not a guarantee of future results. We can apply that here too. But what do you expect? Yeah. So, I mean, I think if God works through His people, and you know, when He touched my heart and convicted my heart of Biblically responsible investing, the small vision that I saw was to be able to redeem a hundred million dollars out of the kingdom of darkness into Biblically responsible investing that was, you know, committing to stop funding that garbage. Now there are others who are calling for a trillion dollars to be redeemed, which is still even a drop in the bucket compared to the number of, some of the numbers that I’ve heard, the trillion dollars that committed Christians have invested. And you know, for the whole BRI movement, there’s less than a trillion dollars that’s invested Biblically responsibly. So, we’ve got a lot of work to do. You know, the culture won’t change until hearts are changed, and God does that one person at a time. Well said, Shonda. And then, why, again, do we need Biblically responsible investing, especially in this time we live in in our nation? Well, I think it’s one way that helps to bring about change in the culture. You know, our culture has fallen away from God. This country was founded on Christian principles, and we’ve slowly seen that drift as it is with just the heart of humanity. You know, when you read the Bible and you see this cycle of, you know, God’s people in Israel, you know, they honored God, they prospered, they fell. They started, you know, doing things that were detestable in the sight of God, they suffered the consequences, they repented, and it was all over again. But, you know, God is using a remnant to do something big, and God uses money to turn our hearts towards Him. And we often want money for what it can do for us to get us things that we think will make us happier, safer, and more prosperous. So, we’re very focused on our money, and when God uses people to minister through the use of our money, I think that can be very successful.
