“President Trump’s enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency,” Graham said in a statement. “In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God. This is a critical time for America. We’re on the edge of a precipice. Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene. We need to ask God to protect, strengthen, encourage, and guide the president.

“We know that God hears and answers prayer,” Graham continued. “He can soften hearts and change minds. He is all-powerful, and He rules over the affairs of nations. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, ‘that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior’ (1 Timothy 2:2-3).”

Added Celia, “The President of the United States of America is being attacked from within like no U.S. president has ever been attacked—from either outside or inside the United States. After over two years, one would think the attacks would begin to subside, but apparently it looks as though they are just getting started.

“Sunday is such an important day,” Celia added, “and I pray that churches and pastors everywhere will be praying for President Trump. Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries calls every family, pastor and church this Sunday to pray with us and pray for our president. We will pray for courage, fortitude, steadfastness and God’s wisdom to withstand the attacks he has already sustained and what is to come. Please join us for this ‘Special Day of Prayer for the President.’”

Daily on “Financial Issues,” Celia, an authority on biblical stewardship, takes live calls from around the country, answering questions about investing, planning, giving, saving and stewarding finances in wise and godly ways.
